If you’ve ever run a red light, crossed over the solid white line or had your car stall on the highway, someone at the Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) in Roseville may have seen it happen. 

Behind the scenes, RTMC employees utilize agency partnerships and an extensive network of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and communication systems to maintain the most efficient traffic flow on Minnesota’s freeway network. Join us for a tour of the RTMC and learn about how staff members keep an eye on ever changing roadway conditions, expedite emergency response efforts, and facilitate regular maintenance activities to create the best possible experience for Minnesota’s commuters.
