Join SMPS for our final networking event of the 2014-2015 season! We will be touring the brand new St. Paul Saints CHS Field with exclusive access to the brand new facility, including areas not accessible when the Saints are in town. We will meet at the front doors of the stadium and led by Ayman Arafa, a Senior Designer at Ryan Companies who was Architect of Record on the project. After our behind-the-scenes look at the stadium, we will head two blocks away to the Lowertown Bulldog restaurant for happy hour. This event is FREE for members; one drink and some apps are included in your registration.

Paid parking is available on nearby streets, at the farmer’s market in front of the gates, and at Union Depot, which is a short walk from the stadium.

About the Tour Guide

Ayman Arafa is a widely respected designer, the creative force behind leading resorts, hotels, retail centers, mix-use, and more in Cairo, Rome, Paris, London, and elsewhere. He co-founded his own firm in 1995, building a reputation across the Middle East and Europe for his ability to achieve client goals while adding tremendous economic value. Ayman combines strong creative vision with deep technical construction knowledge and expertise in regional codes and approaches. This varied background makes him adept at understanding customer goals and bringing them to life in ways that fit local requirements and aesthetics.

Ayman joined this project during its construction phase. His role was the Architect of Record responsible for following the construction administration process, where he reviewed contractor shop drawings and submittals; made sure design intent was met; and verified the details were correct and code compliant. He evaluated the sub contractors’ alternates and approved or rejected for conformance with quality standards and specifications. Ayman also responded to site problems and conflicts and provided details, solutions, and coordinated with all parties involved.
