The answer: leadership, which is a discipline all its own. You can study leadership, learn how to lead others better, and apply what you learn in your everyday work environment.

Our Leadership Mania day starts with the SMPS regular meeting where facilitator, Wendy Nemitz, will deal out the Leadership Deck and you can discover your best ways to be a leader by playing a fun card game. This portion of the program helps each participant find out how they lead best and offers concrete tips for developing your personal best leadership style.

For those who want to know more about putting that knowledge into action, the session continues with a focus on increasing your ability to be a persuasive leader who brings people together and gets the best out of everyone. This workshop is designed to be an interactive experience with lots of trying, sharing, talking, and applying what you learn to your work now.

Wendy Nemitz

With a B.A. in Communication and a M.A. in Leadership, Wendy Nemitz presents lively and refreshing workshops, keynotes, and curriculum grounded in the latest research. She has presented leadership, marketing, and team-building programs throughout the USA, and Canada, Europe, and Asia. With each experience, Wendy has developed a global sensibility about how leaders lead and how professionals serve.

Wendy is a Certified Gallup StrengthsFinder® coach and inventor of the Leadership Card Game. She is an idea generator and a futurist, known for embedding all of her workshops with adult learning theory and active participation.

She is the founder of Ingenuity Marketing Group, one of the largest US-based companies serving the professions and has worked in the AEC space for more than 10 years. An avid volunteer for ALS-based causes, she recently became a Certified Community Response Team member and dancer with Cassandra’s Khazanah.
